MOV(Quicktime) to MPG (VCD)

the MOV to AVI with the Freeware Rad Video Tool read
here how and after convert to MPEG)
Tools: You need Adobe
Premiere to encode mov files made by Quicktime 4.0! Panasonic
MPEG Plugin. (if the .mov-file is in Quicktime 3.* you can
use Panasonic MPEG Encoder directly and open the .mov, read the
AVI to MPG. I don't how to check if
the mov is in quicktime 3 so you have to try to open it with panasonic
and see if it works.)
Install Adobe
Premiere and Panasonic
MPEG Plugin.
Launch Premiere and make a New Project and just hit OK in the New
Project Settings.
1. Import the mov to the Project. (if you can't import *.mov
then install Quicktime 4.0 Player and be sure to click
Quicktime Authoring under Custom or use Full install)
2. Click right button on the mov and select get properties.
3. Check the frame rate and remeber it.
4 Drag the mov to the Timeline on Video1A.
Now click on the Timeline and then File->Export->Movie
1. Select Panasonic MPEG1(if you don't find it you didn't
install the Panasonic MPEG Plugin)
2. Click Advanced Settings and a Panasonc windows will appear,
select under Stream Format: VideoCD/PAL if the frame rate above
25 fps or VideCD/NTSC if it's 29,97 ( if the mov is in any other
frame rate you have to try, but audio maybe get unsynced)
3. Click on General Settings and select Video Settings.
1. If the original frame rate is in 25 fps select Frame size: 352x288
Frame rate: 25 and if it's in 29,97 select as the picture.
2. Hit OK.
1. Check so everything is correct and then Save.
Now you can burn the mpg as a VCD.
